Class A Truck Operator

Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental company in North America, is seeking a Class A Truck Operator.

As a Class A Truck Operator, you will be responsible for delivering and retrieving a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer job sites.

This position typically involves operating a Class A truck with equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in various environments, including urban, suburban, and rural areas.

Safe driving in tight spaces, such as construction zones, is essential.


Qualifications for Success:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver's License with CDL and a satisfactory driving record

Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous training and/or experience with similar commercial vehicles preferred
  • Experience operating flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, and dovetail trailers
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment and vehicles at job sites
  • Strong customer service orientation

The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, as well as working indoors and outdoors as required.
