In addition to the $3,500 sign-on incentive and annual safety reward of $2,000 for accident-free performance, we offer a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting freight over short to medium distances across various roadways.
  • Efficiently planning routes to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections prior to departure to confirm operational readiness.
  • Managing appropriate placarding and documentation for the transport of hazardous materials.
  • Performing routine checks on tire pressure, oil, and fluid levels, along with minor repairs as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, distances, rest periods, and all associated expenses.
  • Communicating any delays caused by road conditions, accidents, or vehicle issues to dispatch.
  • Inspecting containers for damage before delivery and reporting any safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
  • Adhering to federal and state transportation regulations, including mandatory rest periods and weight limits.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
  • HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to maintain all necessary company documentation.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Capability to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various outdoor conditions.
