As a Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing software applications that align with our clients' requirements.

You will utilize the C# programming language to create high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code, while also conducting unit testing and debugging to ensure compliance with specifications.


Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with your team to deliver exceptional software solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment. This includes participating in Agile practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance due to the nature of the work involved.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Software Development, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering, with a successful project delivery record.
  • Professional proficiency in the C# programming language.
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile development methodologies and strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Current DOD-Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing software solutions for Military Communications Satellite systems.
  • Strong knowledge in designing and implementing software solutions using technologies such as Microservices, C#, Active MQ, N-Unit Testing, Angular, and Jasmine.
  • Proficient in Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps Pipelines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Agile Methodologies within the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and regression testing.
  • Familiarity with automated test frameworks like Cypress and Postman.
  • Results-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities in software engineering.
  • Previous experience in delivering reliable Communications / Ground subsystems.
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required for consideration.

Work Environment: This position is performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
