Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business clients to comprehend their needs and requirements, fostering strong client relationships.

  • Develop comprehensive business cases, requirements documentation, use cases, test plans, and operational procedures.
  • Document and analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess the feasibility of technology initiatives through detailed business case development.
  • Gather and define business and functional requirements by collaborating with end-users.
  • Design and execute test cases for application development and implementation projects.
  • Work closely with IT teams to evaluate existing solutions and explore new options to meet business needs.
  • Utilize rapid prototyping techniques to visualize current and future processes and proposed solutions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of requirements and agreements, actively participating in project change control processes.
  • Support the successful design, testing, and implementation of applications that serve the business unit, including the development of training materials and conducting training sessions.
  • Document and manage issues and actions related to IT applications and projects.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and management using MS PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Evaluate applications and IT environments, identifying gaps between current and desired states.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience in the Banking and Financial domain, with knowledge of risk management and finance concepts.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Experience in defining and implementing technology solutions for financial institutions.
  • Extensive background as a Business Analyst within large financial organizations.
  • Strong experience in gathering business requirements and developing functional specifications, with a focus on use cases and test case development.
  • Familiarity with various system development lifecycle methodologies and adapting artifacts accordingly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and experience with writing basic SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages is a plus, with a preference for C#.
