Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform cleaning duties on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in designated areas, including resident apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices.
  • Thoroughly sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum all floors and stairways, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
  • Sanitize and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures, while restocking dispensers as needed.
  • Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is kept in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and refuse in designated areas.
  • Maintain the commercial laundry in a sanitary condition.
  • Secure cleaning chemicals and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Report any maintenance needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
  • Genuine interest in working with the senior population.
  • Exhibit courteous and friendly interactions with guests, residents, and staff.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and moving items as necessary.
