Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative I at Foresight Financial Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer transactions are handled in a prompt and professional manner. This includes receiving and processing deposits, cashing checks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receives and processes deposits, verifies amounts, and examines checks for endorsements
  • Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances
  • Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds
  • Records and balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer and vault throughout shift
  • Completes necessary tasks to open and close branch
  • Explains and promotes bank products and services
  • Exercises dual control as needed to process bank by mail transactions, night depository, and vault
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalent and one year customer service experience required
  • Prefer 6 months to 1 year related banking experience and/or training; cash handling experience a plus
Competencies
  • Customer Service: Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service
  • Communicator: Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs
  • Judgement/Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully
