We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our Sterile Processing Department at Brockton Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the sterile and non-sterile reprocessing of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of Sterile Processing technicians to ensure efficient and effective processing of medical equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of reprocessing activities, including inventory management and quality control.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and quality of reprocessing operations.
- Provide training and guidance to new employees and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
- One to two years of experience in Sterile Processing or a related field.
- Technician Certification preferred and proficiency with basic computer skills.
