Financial Planning Specialist

As a Financial Analyst at Adventist Health, you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and management planning support. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and reconciling data to ensure financial integrity, analyzing trends, and assisting in the development of proformas and acquisition analytics. You will also provide independent analysis to leadership regarding financial results and identify potential improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial analysis tools and reporting, daily productivity dashboards, and trend and forecast reportings.
Participate in the monthly accounting close functions, annual budgeting process, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Provide support with contract and reimbursement modeling, and assist in yearly budgeting through development of supporting data, compilation of information, and important to budgeting system.
Monitor reports to ensure data quality, process, enhance, and acquire technical skills to work with database and business intelligence systems.
Requirements:
Associate's/Technical Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required.
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred.
Master's Degree: Preferred.
Three years' relevant experience: Preferred.
One year's experience in accounting or finance: Preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA): Preferred.
