Job Summary
We are looking for an accomplished Laboratory Technician with expertise in scientific testing and analysis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and producing accurate results within agreed deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Scientific Tests: Apply appropriate scientific methods and procedures to analyze submitted samples, ensuring accuracy and reliability in results.
- Prepare Samples: Prepare samples according to relevant methodology, adhering to required precision and accuracy standards.
- Analyze Results: Conduct thorough analysis of samples, following laboratory protocols, to produce reproducible and accurate results.
- Data Management: Ensure results are properly documented and available in the relevant IT system.
- Project Planning: Plan your work within the constraints of research programs or test schedules.
- Liaison: Collaborate with maintenance staff for repair of faults and modifications.
- Specialized Tasks: Work on specific projects under the guidance of a technical specialist, such as a chemist.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record data, observations, and conclusions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Understand principles of analytical equipment operation and perform calibration checks and small maintenance activities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Relevant experience in the field is desirable.

- Advanced English Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Industrial Mineral Knowledge: Practical understanding of industrial mineral industry, processing, and applications.
