As a Medical Assistant at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical offices. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Assist patients with completing forms and provide necessary information to facilitate their care.
  • Become familiar with our clinic's computer hardware and software, using it according to company policies to optimize patient care.
  • Answer multiple-line and multiple-language telephone lines, providing accurate and timely information to patients and staff.
  • Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, such as ordering transportation and rescheduling appointments.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, including copying, filing, faxing, and maintaining procedure rooms to ensure they are neat and ready for use.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures, following instructions and individual doctor preferences.
  • Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Ensure patients receive post-procedure instructions and information on obtaining medication if needed.
  • Prepare IV solutions and apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train new staff and assist ultrasound staff as needed, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED, required
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills, Spanish/English required
