Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to support our Cybersecurity initiatives, providing expertise to enable secure and effective business processes.

This role is integral to our Blue Team operations. Initial on-site presence is required for a specified period, after which a hybrid work schedule may be considered.

Primary Duties:

- Assist in evaluating systems and providing technical recommendations through various tools, coordinating the remediation of identified issues.

- Utilize multiple SIEM platforms and SOAR tools to track vulnerabilities and collaborate with relevant teams for remediation.

- Ensure the security of diverse cloud systems from major vendors, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.

- Communicate cybersecurity recommendations to system owners and engage in tracking and verifying remediation efforts.

- Develop and test new tools and services for applicability on customer networks, refining findings to eliminate false positives.

- Implement a zero-trust architecture framework across on-premises and cloud systems.

- Build effective working relationships within the team and with external stakeholders to achieve mission objectives while respecting stakeholder needs.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Ability to work on-site initially, followed by a hybrid schedule.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security + CE, or similar.
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms like Splunk and Endpoint Detection & Response tools.
- Familiarity with cloud security tools and protocols.
- Strong communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNA certification.
- Knowledge of security subsystems and network technologies.
- Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and Zero-Trust Architecture.
