Responsibilities and Duties:- Perform Cybersecurity risk assessments on deployed Navy systems, system functions, and interconnection.
- Analyze and develop mitigation plans, corrective actions, and contingencies for risks identified during Cyber Risk Assessments and Penetration Testing.
- Track operational changes to the DoD and DON cybersecurity initiatives and provide implementation guidance and identify policies affecting cost, schedule, and performance criteria to support Navy cybersecurity goals.
- Evaluate cybersecurity requirements implementation across the acquisition lifecycle to make recommendations on cybersecurity risks and mitigations.
- Develop cybersecurity metrics to include data collection, monitoring, analysis, and reporting and evaluate independent cybersecurity technical assessments for cyber risk, software assurance, penetration testing, and other related cybersecurity testing.
- Evaluate cybersecurity technical assessments and develop technical and process efficiencies throughout all Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps and develop implementation guidance for RMF execution for efforts throughout system development.
- 6 years' experience in Government-related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs.
- At least 4 years' experience in any of the following:
- Comparative multi-domain HSI engineering analysis, impact assessments, trade-off studies of complex systems.
- Design, installation, integration, and test support either in a laboratory or direct applications.
- Design documentation/specification development.
- Test planning and test procedures development, test conduct, analysis, and reporting.
- Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems.
- Applying engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition, training, and resource management.
- Conducting Task Analyses (e.g., Mission Task Analysis, Top-Down Functional Analysis, Critical Task Analysis).
- Understand Naval operations from unit level through operational staff and headquarters planning.
- ABET Accredited BS Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum or BS Degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools, such as Cameo or MagicDraw.
- Experience with SW factories, SW development tools, and SW test pipelines.
- Familiarity and experience working with Navy radars, electro-optical and infrared sensors, guns, missiles, electronic warfare, and other warfare systems.
25% to various Naval activity centers, including San Diego, CA; Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA; Charleston, SC; Denver, CO; and Hawaii.
