Mechanical Assembly Technician

Mechanical assembly professionals with experience in manufacturing and fabrication are sought after by a downtown Butler, PA machine shop. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, identify components, and assemble parts as specified without assistance.
The salary for this position is up to $21.00/hour, paid on an hourly basis. Working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, the assembler will be responsible for running piping, performing micrometer readings, and setting tolerances of .001" when required. Additionally, welding and fitting skills would be beneficial but not essential.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have at least three years of mechanical assembly or auto mechanic experience. Welding skills are also a plus, and a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background check and drug test.
