Truss Assembly Technician

Job Overview

Sign-On Bonus: $500.00

Vacation: 40 hours within the first month


Richardson Industries, Inc. is actively looking for dedicated individuals to join our Truss Manufacturing team. This role involves various tasks essential for the production of high-quality trusses.

  • Transport precut lumber to designated workstations using carts.
  • Position and secure precut lumber onto assembly tables.
  • Adhere to blueprint specifications to construct finished trusses.
  • Install jig plates on tables for accurate assembly.
  • Utilize hammers to affix connector plates.
  • Operate stacking machinery for truss organization.
  • Label and secure trusses for shipment.
  • Employ tools such as hammers, saws, pneumatic nailers, and staple guns to assemble components.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Team-oriented with a strong attendance history.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that becomes effective on the first of the month following your hire date, including paid holidays, paid time off, and eligibility for a bonus program. Additionally, a $1.50 shift premium is available for second shift workers.

Shift Schedule: Second Shift, Monday to Thursday, 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
