Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Perinatal Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care for patients in an acute setting, ensuring holistic and individualized care.
  • Develop and implement plans of care that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in perinatal nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
