Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our IMCU team at South Shore Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process.
  • Administer medications, complete medication reconciliation, and document patient care according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop, discuss, and communicate a prioritized problem list/plan of care for each patient.
  • Foster a culture of safety through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.
  • Assume overall responsibility for own professional development by incorporating evidenced-based practice, research, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize technological solutions to work processes and practices.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards relevant to the position.
  • Convey respect for values, preferences, and expressed needs of the patient and family.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred.
  • RN - Registered Nurse licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, or other certifications as required by the department.
