Position Overview:
The Commonwealth of Virginia is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Fitness Coaches. These part-time, wage roles focus on leading personalized training sessions tailored to the fitness aspirations of our community members, including students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations to understand client needs.
- Design and implement engaging personal training sessions, either individually or in groups.
- Foster a vibrant atmosphere that encourages fitness and wellness, ensuring participant safety by modifying exercises as necessary.
- Build strong relationships with clients and staff, promoting exceptional customer service and a positive environment.
- Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and teamwork.

Qualifications:
- A nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA) is essential.
- Experience in conducting fitness assessments and leading training sessions is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
- Availability to work consistently with multiple clients throughout the semester.

Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate of $28.00.
