Engineering Intern, Salt Lake City, UT

As a vital member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the creation of technical studies, design specifications, and performance evaluations related to the planning, design, and maintenance of our transmission and distribution infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering professionals to conduct analyses of substation and distribution equipment.
- Develop and execute moderately complex engineering studies and prepare relevant data for evaluation.
- Perform data analysis on electrical networks and communicate findings effectively to team members.
- Review technical drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Research and evaluate equipment from suppliers to ensure quality and performance.
- Update and maintain company standards and technical documentation.
- Analyze system designs and assist in programming and modifications.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program, pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- Sophomore status or higher is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate requirements and present solutions.
- Proficient in using personal computers and engineering software tools.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week.
