You will have significant influence on our overall strategy, working closely with partner teams to provide the best-in-class developer experience. Our team creates scalable solutions impacting over 100 Alexa mobile partner teams, and we're looking for someone who can help us build a scalable system to process performance-relevant events in near real-time.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and launch of core product features
- Drive system architecture and spearhead best practices to enable a quality product
- Work closely with partner teams to provide the best-in-class developer experience
- Contribute to the development of highly innovative, consumer-facing distributed system backend architectures
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code reviews
- Write tests for new and existing code to drive code coverage to 100%
You'll be part of a team that creates scalable solutions impacting over 100 Alexa mobile partner teams. Our mission is to build a scalable system to process performance-relevant events in near real-time and provide services using machine learning.
We're frontend & backend services library experts who mentor and develop the best. Our team invests in building tools that act as gatekeepers for publishing any changes to the app, ensuring data is delivered accurately and efficiently.
Requirements- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market.
