Emmet County Lead Cook Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our team at the Emmet County Jail in Petoskey, MI.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading meal preparations, instructing and assisting with food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up. Key qualifications include ability to work well in a structured correctional environment, read and follow company recipes, lift up to 50 pounds, and possess flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including a starting minimum pay of $21.00 an hour, 401K, paid time off, and much more. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus. We can train the right person.
