Software Engineer

At Tyler Technologies, we're seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our innovative software solutions for local government and school districts.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with product teams to bring tangible results to market
- Maintain existing application programs and ensure program, module, and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures
- Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, development, testing, and maintenance
- Participate in agile development environments and assist in sprint definitions/reviews as needed
- Prepare and modify program and system documentation
- Achieve departmental goals and timelines
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with.NET, C#, C++ coding, and conventional technologies
- Superior communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability for effective multi-tasking and tracking deliverables and timelines
- Ability to be successful working on highly visible deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate across team or division boundaries
- Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript,.NET, SQL, Angular, and REST APIs
- Experience with data modeling tools and web services
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and AWS certifications
- Experience with automated tests, continuous deployment, and test-driven development
- Experience with GitHub, Kubernetes, and Cloud technologies
