Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Kintegra Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Count and measure medications to ensure accurate dispensing.
  • Mix and prepare medications as needed.
  • Package prescriptions with accurate labeling and dosage information.
  • Process retail transactions and handle cash.
  • Process insurance claims for prescription fillings.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • National Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or registration with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) preferred.
