Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Mary Lanning Healthcare. This is a full-time position working evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory analysis of specimens and record results
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory tests and results
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required for MLT position
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent required for MLS position
• American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification or American Medical Scientist (AMT) certification required within 12 months of employment
