Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Lenox Hill Radiology. As a lead radiology technologist, you will be responsible for operating mammographic equipment and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex imaging procedures involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other medical devices.
  • Produce accurate and detailed diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing exceptional patient care.
  • Understand and utilize various technical settings and adjustments on the equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams and take appropriate action if necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and respond to physician inquiries regarding patient exams.

Requirements:

  • Achieve ARRT(R)(M) certification and hold a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Prior experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred but not mandatory.
