- Perform radiographic procedures and operate related equipment.
- Greet patients, obtain medical history, and input data into the system.
- Capture high-quality x-ray images and ensure patient safety.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during exams.
- Provide backup coverage as needed.
- Mentor new hires and maintain CPR certification.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate/Bachelor's degree in radiography preferred.
- ARRT certification and NY State license in Radiologic Technology required.
- 1-4 years of experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to use department systems.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, assist with patients weighing up to 300 pounds.
- Visual acuity correctable to 20/20 for equipment operation.
