The role involves the precise preparation and analysis of samples in alignment with SGS' established analytical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Engage in both independent work and collaborative efforts to achieve daily production goals while ensuring compliance with hold times and turnaround times.
Grasp and implement fundamental principles of analytical chemistry. Consistently adhere to safe laboratory practices to maintain a secure working environment.Key Responsibilities
Upon completion of requisite training, independently prepare and analyze samples following SGS' analytical SOPs utilizing department-specific instrumentation and methodologies.
Conduct routine operations, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.
May provide assistance with validation processes and Method Detection Limit (MDL) studies.
Support investigations and contribute to the preparation of responses to client inquiries and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
Input and maintain necessary technical information to support laboratory operations.
Keep a Laboratory Notebook as required.
Comply with internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
