Powder Coating Technician

Alumina Railing Products is a leading manufacturer and installer of ornamental and decorative railings. We are seeking a skilled and dependable individual to join our team as a Powder Coating Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a leadership mentality, be able to multitask, and have experience in a powder coating facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings and paperwork, hanging materials, pre-treating with chemicals, applying powder coating, and assisting with troubleshooting machinery and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with managers to prepare and set up materials for production.
• Hang materials using a variety of hooks and ensure they are properly secured.
• Pre-treat materials with specific chemicals using a pressure washer to ensure a clean surface for powder coating.
• Assist in applying powder coating to materials and ensure a high-quality finish.
• Unhang, wrap, and prepare materials/hardware for installation.
• Assist in troubleshooting any issues with machinery and tools in the shop.
