Senior Financial Analyst Opportunity at Stout

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Disputes, Claims, and Investigations group. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in overseeing the completion of various types of economic damages calculations and/or related financial analyses in a settlement as well as a litigation context.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or co-lead the day-to-day execution of engagements, with primary responsibility for coordinating and executing the engagement workplan
  • Oversee the creation of engagement analyses, including financial analysis and modeling
  • Manage document organization processes, including the review, organization, and analysis of case documentation, testimony, court filings, and the identification of relevant information utilized for analysis
  • Manage day-to-day activities of Analysts and Associates
  • Work with engagement leaders to strategize engagement approach; develop engagement workplans; oversee and monitor engagement progress on a daily basis; and report to engagement leadership on engagement progress and critical path items
  • Assist with the management of client relationships
  • Management and performance of company, industry, and case-specific research functions, including technical, economic, accounting, and/or market research to support the basis for our analyses, assumptions, and conclusions
  • Preparation and review of written reports, presentations, and graphical exhibits
  • Participation in marketing and thought leadership efforts
  • Assist with career development of Analysts and Associates
Requirements:
  • 4-year undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting, finance, or economics
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the accounting, finance, or economic disciplines. Litigation consulting, forensic accounting, fraud investigation, professional/public accounting, and/or assurance/audit experience preferred
  • CPA or other designation preferred
