- Deliver operational support to hedge fund clients engaged in various investment strategies such as Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT), Private Equity, Global Macro, Fixed Income, and more.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a liaison between clients and prime brokers/counterparties.
- Utilize Prime Broker/Custodian Web Sites, Omgeo Alert & CTM, and Action Swift Messaging to oversee trade confirmation, allocation, and trade flow.
- Provide middle and back office support for a range of products including equities, fixed income, treasuries, swaps, and more.
- Investigate and resolve cash/position/Market Value reconciliation discrepancies.
- Collaborate with various internal SS&C GlobeOp departments such as Fund Accounting, OTC Operations, Investor Services, and IT.
- Manage wire processing related to management fees, incentive fees, fund subscriptions, redemptions, and collateral.
- Generate cash reports and confirm payments with counterparties.
- Review work completed by others.
- Train operations staff.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Back Office Operations within a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, Investment Advisor, or Financial/Retirement Planner.
- Familiarity with various financial products including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Experience with OTC products.
- Background in middle/back office functions covering trade settlements, fail control, and client servicing.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Experience in a client service environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
