About the Role
The Line Inspector reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacture to ensure they meet company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, sample, and test products and materials to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
- Document results and recommendations on inspection reports, batch sheets, and other documentation.
- Count the number of products tested or inspected.
- Weigh materials, products, containers, or samples to verify packaging weight.
- Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to GMP and ISO 22716 standards.
- Place non-conforming products, materials, and/or equipment on hold and communicate to management, peers, and appropriate departments.
- Write non-conformance reports to document deficiencies and errors as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year quality experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
- Availability during operating hours with consistent attendance.
- Understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- Basic computer skills with experience in data entry in applications such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana, etc.
- Detail oriented with basic technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- 2 Shift Options: Monday-Thursday 7PM-5AM OR Friday-Sunday 9AM-9PM.
