Diagnostic Imaging Department Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily operation of diagnostic ultrasound services using independent judgment based on predefined ultrasound protocols and radiologist direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Develop and implement ultrasound protocols to ensure accurate and efficient imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret ultrasound images and provide diagnostic information.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.
  • RDMS registry or registry eligible.
  • Basic verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekends when required within a 30-minute response rate for callbacks.
  • BLS Health Care Provider within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent hospital experience.
  • Additional training in radiologic technology and vascular ultrasound.
