Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Community Medical Center. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and operating diagnostic ultrasound services with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Develop and implement ultrasound protocols to ensure accurate and efficient imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program.
  • RDMS registry or registry eligible.
  • Basic verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekend duties when required.
  • BLS Health Care Provider certification within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent hospital experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Additional training in radiologic technology and vascular ultrasound.
