High Side Tech is seeking a Product Release Manager to oversee the end-to-end process of product releases. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a detailed release plan, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with product management and engineering teams to define the scope and objectives of each release.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues that could impact the release schedule or quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all release-related activities.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on release goals and timelines.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to update on release progress, risks, and issues.
  • Oversee the execution of release activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate final testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the product meets all necessary criteria before release.
  • Manage the deployment process, ensuring that the product is released smoothly and without any major issues.
  • Monitor the product post-release to ensure that it is functioning as expected.
  • Coordinate with customer support and engineering teams to address any issues that arise after release.
  • Conduct a post-mortem analysis of the release process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all release activities, including plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and distribute release reports to stakeholders, summarizing key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Top Secret security clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role, with at least 2 years of experience specifically managing product releases.
  • Familiarity with software development processes, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

A successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a distributed multi-disciplinary team environment on government customer site and work independently as needed. A successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional people skills, professionalism, organization, and leadership skills. This position requires interaction with government customers at all levels of authority and technical acuity, and therefore a successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate technical and programmatic information through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
