Position Overview:
This role involves delivering supervised medical services to patients, focusing on acute and same-day care. Responsibilities are carried out in collaboration with a contracted physician, adhering to the regulations and policies established by the relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
We aim to accommodate individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions effectively.
- Provide education and counseling tailored to the medical needs of patients.
- Maintain active licensure and fulfill continuing medical education requirements as mandated by state law.
- Communicate progress in treatment and therapy to those responsible for patient care.
- Refer patients to qualified physicians or healthcare providers as necessary.
- Execute duties in line with established protocols set forth by relevant regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate from an accredited medical institution.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a PA/NP in an acute care environment.
Licensure and Certifications Required:
- Current state licensure along with CPR, BLS, and ALS certifications.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Employees in this role may encounter exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
