Job Title: Youth CCS Mental Health Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Youth CCS Mental Health Professional to join our team at Wisconsin Community Services. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide clinical oversight and supervision to a team of CCS Care Coordinators and Ancillary Providers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision and management to CCS staff, including individual, group, and side-by-side supervision in accordance with DHS 36.
  • Assist staff in identifying services from the CCS service array appropriate to address barriers to recovery.
  • Monitor and approve staff documentation to ensure good clinical practice and maximize billing.
  • Oversee CCS discharges in collaboration with Care Coordinators and Milwaukee County Wraparound Administration.
  • Ensure accountability for timely annual functional screen evaluations.
  • Attend safety plan meetings, team meetings, and other face-to-face visits for high-risk youth.
  • Keep Wraparound Milwaukee/Youth CCS Administrators informed of emergency or critical incidents.
  • Attend all required trainings and in-services.
  • Assist and support CCS staff during crisis situations.
  • Engage in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
  • Represent the Agency in the community and at County initiatives.
  • Appropriately document all contact with clients and team members.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in a Behavioral Science or related field and licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker is required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • No convictions or license revocations that would fail a caregiver background check.
  • Valid drivers license, automobile, and sufficient insurance to meet agency requirements.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in a busy office environment. Some of the work is done sitting at a desk using a computer; requires outreach in the community and families' homes; much of the outreach is done in urban neighborhoods and time may be spent driving.
