Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator Material Handler to join our team. As a Forklift Operator Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently operating the machinery, utilizing hand controls to maneuver forks and pallets within the racking systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Forklifts Safely: Safely deliver products according to schedule, following instructions for locating or relocating products.
  • Load and Unload Trucks: Load and unload trucks as needed, re-stack or build pallet loads when required.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management System: Utilize warehouse management system effectively to manage inventory and track products.
  • Perform Daily Inspections: Perform daily inspections and maintenance on forklifts, maintain forklift battery watering system.
  • Provide Support: Provide support to forklift drivers in other departments, maintain professional communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to safety and operational protocols, remain flexible and adaptable to changing assignments.
  • Meet Attendance Standards: Meet attendance standards consistently.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED preferred).
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience operating Stand Up Reach Forklifts, 2-3 years of experience operating Sit Down Forklifts.
  • Physical Demands: Comfortable working at heights, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, capable of standing for extended periods (up to 9 hours per day).
  • Skills: Proficient in using scan guns or gladiators, demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong English language skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and detail-oriented, commitment to meeting deadlines and requirements.
Work Schedule

This position is available on 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM). Some overtime and weekend work may be required.

Compensation

Pay for this position starts at $15.00/hr. plus an additional $1.00/hr. shift differential pay, plus overtime.
