We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

About the Role

You will be responsible for processing and sterilizing all dental instruments for daily use. This includes collecting used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontamination, manually cleaning supplies of contaminants, and operating and maintaining decontamination equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • To collect, sort, and decontaminate used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • To clean and prepare instruments for sterilization
  • To operate and maintain decontamination equipment
  • To prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization
  • To examine supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized
  • To test and report any issues or problems with sterilization equipment
  • To sterilize, prep, wrap, and organize equipment into instruments trays for use during dental procedures
  • To prepare and deliver all necessary equipment and instruments for procedures
  • To maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supplies
  • To monitor inventory and supplies
