About the Role
Anesthesia Technicians play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of anesthesia services and providing high-quality patient care in perioperative settings. As a Medical Support Specialist in the Anesthesia Department, you will assist anesthesia providers with preparation of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures, prepare and administer medications under the direction of anesthesia providers, and provide support to the anesthesia team during induction, maintenance, and emergence phases of anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist anesthesia providers with preparation of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications under the direction of anesthesia providers.
- Assist with patient positioning and transfer to and from the operating room.
- Provide support to the anesthesia team during induction, maintenance, and emergence phases of anesthesia.
Requirements
- Current license.
- BLS (other certifications as required by facility).
- 2 years of recent Anesthesia Tech experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
