About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using technical drawings and testing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, modification, and repair of equipment, fixtures, and systems.
  • Collaborate with production operators, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues and improve equipment efficiency.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex problems, working closely with senior mechanics and management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance using standardized work order procedures.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and process diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with variable frequency drives, servo motors, and other advanced equipment.
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and plastics processing.
  • Experience with Krones, Sidel, or Husky equipment, as well as HVAC systems and electrical systems.
