Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Technician - Materials Testing to join our team at Western Technologies Inc. in Fort Mohave. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including concrete, soil, asphalt, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials according to ASTM procedures
  • Assist with maintaining accreditation with AMRL, CCRL, and NDOT
  • Prepare daily reports and document test results
  • Support project managers and engineers with assignments
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of construction materials testing techniques and procedures
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of masonry and asphalt field and laboratory testing procedures
  • Field and laboratory certification or ability to achieve certifications in concrete and soil testing
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills and proficiency in software applications
  • Good math skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACI certifications in Field Level I, Lab Level I, and Strength Testing
  • ATTI certifications in Field, Soils/Aggregate, and Asphalt
