CDL Driver Position Overview:

Lignetics is seeking skilled CDL Class A Truck Drivers to join our team at our White Pigeon location. We offer a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to be home nightly.

Responsibilities
  • Operate 18-wheel semi-tractor trailers with both automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time, including freight bills, load sheets, electronic logbooks, fuel purchase records, mileage logs, and any other documentation necessary for compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations governing safe driving practices, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with appropriate endorsements.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently for effective communication and comprehension of job-related information, instructions, regulations, signs, maps, MSDS guidelines, required paperwork, memos, etc.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of DOT regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations governing safe driving practices, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Meet or exceed the medical standards set by the U.S. Department of Transportation and hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
  • Be physically capable of frequently reaching for freight at waist level and occasionally reaching above shoulder height or below waist level for maneuvering and directing the controls to operate the truck.
  • Be able to load and unload full trailers of freight, as customer requests may vary.
