About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Corteva Agriscience in Constantine, Michigan. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.


Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Performing electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures
  • Reviewing and assisting with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance
  • Service, troubleshooting, and repairing any electrical/mechanical problems
  • Adhering to all quality systems and safety procedures, including environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures
  • Making recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A Journeyman electrical license
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to drive a company vehicle as needed
  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Comfort with technology and good computer aptitude, including Microsoft Applications
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime hours, including weekend work as needed
