Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
  • Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a home health or community setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injuries
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with neurological conditions, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, or brain injury
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish
  • Experience with functional, creative neuro rehabilitation techniques
