About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled General Cardiologist to join our team at St. Joseph Humboldt County. As a cardiologist in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our cardiology program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 3 days a week coverage in an ambulatory cardiology clinic, with the opportunity to expand to 5 days a week in the future
  • Supervise and interpret echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and heart rhythm monitors
  • Supervise Device Clinic appointments, and Ambulatory NP and Follow Up cardiology appointments
  • Represent the Providence Heart Institute as a cardiac care provider and ambassador for our programs
  • Provide education to peers in rural communities to support team building and program growth
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a cardiologist
  • Formal training and expertise in echocardiography a plus
  • Motivated, compassionate, and excellent clinical experience
