Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer II to join our team at Pro2Serve. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for applying standard engineering principles to accomplish tasks, working within prescribed budgets and schedules, and performing routine and non-routine engineering designs and calculations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Apply standard engineering principles to accomplish tasks, working within prescribed budgets and schedules.
  • Engineering Calculations: Perform routine and non-routine engineering designs and calculations in accordance with established standards.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in preparing and coordinating engineering reports, studies, calculations, etc. as required.
  • Client Communication: Participate in conferences with clients to establish project objectives and resolve design problems.
  • Quality Control: Check and approve internal and/or vendor drawings.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate ability to get along with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience: 3-10 years of progressive design and developmental projects with facility design experience.
  • Licensure: Must have an EIT License. If candidate has an EIT License, please provide State License number on resume or attach a copy of registration.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of IBC and ASCE codes, Structural modeling programs (STADD, GT Strudl, etc.), and software used for specific technical applications within the department.
  • Communication: Good level of verbal and written communication skills.
