Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Management Services and Budget to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to staff responsible for conceiving, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating administrative programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage administrative programs, including budget formulation, execution, and evaluation, contract administration, and procurement.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to staff responsible for financial management, strategic planning, program evaluation, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to further the organizational mission and address issues related to administrative services.
  • Develop, evaluate, and advise on administrative policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and direct staff through subordinate supervisors.
Requirements
  • One year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service, performing tasks such as developing or managing programs, developing and evaluating policies and procedures, supervising staff, and collaborating with leadership.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on strategic planning, program evaluation, and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
