We are seeking a skilled General Assistant to join our team at International Paper. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our corrugating and converting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist operators and helpers in setting up, operating, and cleaning up corrugating and converting machinery.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend availability is required, as this is a 24/7 manufacturing plant.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs is a requirement.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others.
- Willingness to cross-train on multiple positions.
- Ability to accurately use and read measuring devices.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Willingness to comply with all Company policies and procedures, including safety and good housekeeping.
- Candidates must successfully complete an online Operations test and interview.
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment Health Assessment, Drug Screen, and Background Check, prior to starting work.
