Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Assistant to join our team at International Paper. As a General Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring the smooth production of corrugated packaging products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist operators and helpers in setting up, operating, and cleaning corrugating and converting machinery
  • Perform tasks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work culture
Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Weekend availability
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to accurately use and read measuring devices
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
