About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at US Foods. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving a company vehicle to deliver food service products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver food service products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical and pass pre-employment testing (including items such as Drug Screen & Background Check)
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
  • No commercial or professional driving experience is required. One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six months of local delivery experience and/or food service industry experience
  • Hand cart delivery experience preferred
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
