Job Title: Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a challenging role in the transportation industry? We are seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at TransForce.

Job Summary:

The Non-CDL Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering food service products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This role requires a high level of service and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver food service products to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Load and unload vehicles for multi-stop deliveries
  • Transport deliveries by driving assigned vehicles
  • Use hand trucks to move product from the delivery vehicle into the customer location
  • Accurately record delivery information and complete all company required documentation
  • Responsible for the proper documentation and disposition of any return product
  • Communicate delivery and customer issues to the proper authority
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations
  • No DUI convictions in the past three years
  • No driver's license suspensions in the past three years
  • One year multi-stop delivery experience required or six month local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
  • Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Physical Requirements:

This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. of material on a consistent basis, 100 lbs. on an occasional basis and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in extreme weather conditions and performing the following physical activities for described length of time:

  • STAND Frequently
  • WALK Frequently
  • DRIVE Frequently
  • SIT Frequently

This role requires lifting 1-10 lbs. (Sedentary) Occasionally, 10-20 lbs. (Light) Frequently, 25-50 lbs. (Medium) Frequently, 50-100 lbs. (Heavy) Occasionally, and Over 100 lbs. (Very Heavy) Occasionally.

This role requires carrying 1-10 lbs. (Sedentary) Occasionally, 10-20 lbs. (Light) Occasionally, 20-50 lbs. (Medium) Occasionally, and 50-100 lbs. (Heavy) Occasionally.

This role requires pushing/pulling Frequently, climbing/balancing Frequently, stooping/squatting Occasionally, kneeling/bending Occasionally, bending Frequently, reaching above shoulder Occasionally, grasping objects Frequently, manipulating objects Frequently, and twisting Frequently.
